Pathogenic for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_023036.6(DNAI2):c.1132A>T (p.Lys378Ter), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Loss-of-function variants in DNAI2 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 18950741). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with DNAI2-related disease. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Lys378*) in the DNAI2 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product.
