This variant lies in the PLEC gene (transcript NM_201384.3) at coding-DNA position 9367, where G is replaced by T; at the protein level this means replaces glycine at residue 3123 with cysteine — a missense variant. Submitter rationale: In summary, the available evidence is currently insufficient to determine the role of this variant in disease. Therefore, it has been classified as a Variant of Uncertain Significance.
