Pathogenic for External genitalia consistent with typical female genitalia; immature seminiferous tubules from testes biopsy identified intraabdomen; elevated DHEAS; Androgen resistance syndrome — the classification assigned by Stanford Starfish Project, Stanford University to NM_000044.6(AR):c.1844G>C (p.Cys615Ser), citing ACMG Guidelines, 2015: This variant is predicted to result in the substitution of cysteine by serine at amino acid 615 (p.Cys615Ser).This variant is not present in large population databases (https://gnomad.broadinstitute.org/). Variant present in 3 month old XY female with features consistent with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. See Observation 1 for details on clinical features. Patient is hemizygous for this variant with confirmed maternal inheritance.
