Pathogenic for Neuropathy, hereditary motor and sensory, type 6B — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000005.10:g.(?_110743720)_(110743797_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Loss-of-function variants in SLC25A46 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 26168012, 26951855, 27543974). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with SLC25A46-related conditions. This variant is an out-of-frame deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon 3 of the SLC25A46 gene. This is expected to create a premature translational stop signal and result in an absent or disrupted protein product.
