Pathogenic for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000021.8:g.(?_43892908)_(45629566_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the RSPH1 gene has been identified. The boundaries of this event are unknown as the deletion extends beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with RSPH1-related disease. Loss-of-function variants in RSPH1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 23993197). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
