Pathogenic for Telangiectasia, hereditary hemorrhagic, type 2 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_000020.3(ACVRL1):c.190C>T (p.Gln64Ter), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Gln64*) in the ACVRL1 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with ACVRL1-related conditions. Loss-of-function variants in ACVRL1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 15879500).
