NC_000007.14:g.(?_21735620)_(21750384_?)del was classified as Pathogenic for Primary ciliary dyskinesia by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A deletion of exons 46-48 has been observed in an individual affected with primary ciliary dyskinesia and determined to be likely pathogenic (Invitae database). This suggests that these amino acid residues are critical for DNAH11 protein function and that other in-frame deletions encompassing these exons may also be pathogenic. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Deletion of exons 46-54 has not been reported in the literature in individuals with DNAH11-related disease. However, this deletion was found to be homozygous in a patient affected with respiratory distress and situs inversus totalis (Invitae). This variant is an in-frame deletion of the genomic region encompassing exons 46-54 of the DNAH11 gene. It preserves the integrity of the reading frame.
