Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_004364.5(CEBPA):c.836A>G (p.Asp279Gly), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.D279G variant (also known as c.836A>G), located in coding exon 1 of the CEBPA gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 836. The aspartic acid at codon 279 is replaced by glycine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
