Submitter rationale: This sequence change replaces arginine, which is basic and polar, with glutamine, which is neutral and polar, at codon 1226 of the DNAH5 protein (p.Arg1226Gln). This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This missense change has been observed in individual(s) with clinical features of DNAH5-related conditions (Invitae).
