Pathogenic for Intellectual disability; Autism; Anxiety; Obesity; Breast-ovarian cancer, familial, susceptibility to, 2 — the classification assigned by Geisinger Autism and Developmental Medicine Institute, Geisinger Health System to Single allele, citing ACMG CNV Guidelines, 2011: This deletion was identified in a 12 year old male with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and obesity. Parental testing was not completed. This deletion includes three genes, including a portion of BRCA2. The patient's father has a strong family history of breast cancer in individuals under the age of 40 and so the deletion is likely paternally inherited. The father has a history of eye problems (ptosis, pain, diplopia), hypertension, and high cholesterol. Patient has a sister with autism who has not been tested for this deletion. The clinical significance of this deletion for the patient's current symptoms remains unclear at this time.
