Submitter rationale: This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This sequence change replaces aspartic acid, which is acidic and polar, with asparagine, which is neutral and polar, at codon 1690 of the TSC2 protein (p.Asp1690Asn). This variant also falls at the last nucleotide of exon 39, which is part of the consensus splice site for this exon. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with TSC2-related conditions.
