The variant was absent in 183276 control chromosomes (gnomAD). c.501G>A has been observed in individuals affected with X-Linked Hypophosphatemic Rickets (Jimnez_2021). These data indicate that the variant may be associated with disease. To our knowledge, no experimental evidence demonstrating an impact on protein function has been reported.
