NM_000179.3(MSH6):c.3311T>C (p.Phe1104Ser) was classified as Uncertain significance for Hereditary cancer-predisposing syndrome by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.F1104S variant (also known as c.3311T>C), located in coding exon 5 of the MSH6 gene, results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 3311. The phenylalanine at codon 1104 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with highly dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
