Uncertain significance for Cardiovascular phenotype — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_000089.4(COL1A2):c.179G>C (p.Gly60Ala), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.G60A variant (also known as c.179G>C), located in coding exon 5 of the COL1A2 gene, results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 179. The glycine at codon 60 is replaced by alanine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
