Pathogenic for Familial intrahepatic cholestasis — the classification assigned by Genomenon, Inc, Genomenon, Inc to NM_001374385.1(ATP8B1):c.365del (p.Leu122fs), citing Genomenon Sequence Variant Interpretation Standards - Updated: ATP8B1 p.Leu122TyrfsTer24 (c.365del) is a frameshift variant that results in the production of a truncated protein which is predicted to undergo nonsense-mediated mRNA decay. This variant has been observed in at least one proband with features of ATP8B1-deficiency (PMID:39419571). It is absent or not present at a significant frequency in gnomAD. In conclusion, we classify ATP8B1 p.Leu122TyrfsTer24 (c.365del) as a pathogenic variant.
