NM_007272.3(CTRC):c.224G>C (p.Cys75Ser) was classified as Uncertain significance for Hereditary pancreatitis by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.C75S variant (also known as c.224G>C), located in coding exon 3 of the CTRC gene, results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 224. The cysteine at codon 75 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
