NM_001283009.2(RTEL1):c.1295G>C (p.Arg432Pro) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.R432P variant (also known as c.1295G>C), located in coding exon 15 of the RTEL1 gene, results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 1295. The arginine at codon 432 is replaced by proline, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
