Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_001386125.1(OBSCN):c.2305G>T (p.Ala769Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.A769S variant (also known as c.2305G>T), located in coding exon 6 of the OBSCN gene, results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 2305. The alanine at codon 769 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
