NM_005751.5(AKAP9):c.6850G>C (p.Ala2284Pro) was classified as Uncertain significance for Cardiovascular phenotype by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.A2284P variant (also known as c.6850G>C), located in coding exon 30 of the AKAP9 gene, results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 6850. The alanine at codon 2284 is replaced by proline, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
