This alteration results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 2451, causing the tryptophan (W) at amino acid position 817 to be replaced by a cysteine (C). This variant was not reported in population-based cohorts in the Genome Aggregation Database (gnomAD). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
