Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_001283009.2(RTEL1):c.2364A>T (p.Lys788Asn), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.K788N variant (also known as c.2364A>T), located in coding exon 25 of the RTEL1 gene, results from an A to T substitution at nucleotide position 2364. The lysine at codon 788 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
