Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_138387.4(G6PC3):c.988T>G (p.Trp330Gly), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.W330G variant (also known as c.988T>G), located in coding exon 6 of the G6PC3 gene, results from a T to G substitution at nucleotide position 988. The tryptophan at codon 330 is replaced by glycine, an amino acid with highly dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
