Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_002907.4(RECQL):c.1888A>T (p.Met630Leu), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.M630L variant (also known as c.1888A>T), located in coding exon 14 of the RECQL gene, results from an A to T substitution at nucleotide position 1888. The methionine at codon 630 is replaced by leucine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
