Uncertain significance for Hereditary cancer-predisposing syndrome — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_001370259.2(MEN1):c.1819C>G (p.Arg607Gly), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.R607G variant (also known as c.1819C>G), located in coding exon 9 of the MEN1 gene, results from a C to G substitution at nucleotide position 1819. The arginine at codon 607 is replaced by glycine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
