Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_004364.5(CEBPA):c.193A>G (p.Ser65Gly), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.S65G variant (also known as c.193A>G), located in coding exon 1 of the CEBPA gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 193. The serine at codon 65 is replaced by glycine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
