Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_024598.4(USB1):c.278A>G (p.Glu93Gly), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.E93G variant (also known as c.278A>G), located in coding exon 3 of the USB1 gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 278. The glutamic acid at codon 93 is replaced by glycine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
