NM_032638.5(GATA2):c.1198A>G (p.Met400Val) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.M400V variant (also known as c.1198A>G), located in coding exon 5 of the GATA2 gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 1198. The methionine at codon 400 is replaced by valine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
