It is expected to disrupt RNA splicing and likely results in an absent or disrupted protein product. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This variant has been reported in the literature in an individual affected with a TGFBR2-related disease (PMID: 16928994). This variant has been observed to be de novo in an affected individual (Invitae).
