Pathogenic for Wilms tumor 1; Drash syndrome; 11p partial monosomy syndrome; Frasier syndrome — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000011.10:g.(?_32396251)_(32417660_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. While this particular deletion has not been reported in the literature, loss-of-function variants in WT1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 15150775). This variant is an out-of-frame deletion of the genomic region encompassing exons 4-7 of the WT1 gene. This creates a premature translational stop signal and is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product.
