Submitter rationale: This missense change has been observed in individual(s) with very long-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (PMID: 30194637; Invitae). In at least one individual the data is consistent with being in trans (on the opposite chromosome) from a pathogenic variant. This sequence change replaces serine, which is neutral and polar, with asparagine, which is neutral and polar, at codon 418 of the ACADVL protein (p.Ser418Asn).
