This variant lies in the KCNH2 gene (transcript NM_000238.4) at the canonical splice donor site of the intron immediately after coding-DNA position 916 through 3 bases into the intron immediately after coding-DNA position 916, duplicating this region. Submitter rationale: This sequence change falls in intron 4 of the KCNH2 gene. It does not directly change the encoded amino acid sequence of the KCNH2 protein. It affects a nucleotide within the consensus splice site. This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with KCNH2-related conditions.
