NM_003001.5(SDHC):c.432G>T (p.Lys144Asn) was classified as Uncertain significance for Hereditary cancer-predisposing syndrome by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.K144N variant (also known as c.432G>T), located in coding exon 6 of the SDHC gene, results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 432. The lysine at codon 144 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
