NC_000022.11:g.(?_18922797)_(18936307_?)del was classified as Pathogenic for Proline dehydrogenase deficiency by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the PRODH gene has been identified. The boundaries of this event are unknown as the deletion extends beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. While this particular variant has not been reported in the literature, loss-of-function mutations in the PRODH gene are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 12525555, 15662599). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
