Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_015338.6(ASXL1):c.988A>T (p.Thr330Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.T330S variant (also known as c.988A>T), located in coding exon 11 of the ASXL1 gene, results from an A to T substitution at nucleotide position 988. The threonine at codon 330 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
