Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_001386125.1(OBSCN):c.21067C>T (p.Pro7023Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.P6066S variant (also known as c.18196C>T), located in coding exon 76 of the OBSCN gene, results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 18196. The proline at codon 6066 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
