Uncertain significance for Cystic fibrosis — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_000492.4(CFTR):c.4085G>A (p.Ser1362Asn), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.S1362N variant (also known as c.4085G>A), located in coding exon 25 of the CFTR gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 4085. The serine at codon 1362 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
