Uncertain significance for Hereditary pancreatitis — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_007272.3(CTRC):c.525G>C (p.Gln175His), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.Q175H variant (also known as c.525G>C), located in coding exon 6 of the CTRC gene, results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 525. The glutamine at codon 175 is replaced by histidine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
