NM_000384.3(APOB):c.959A>G (p.Lys320Arg) was classified as Uncertain significance for Cardiovascular phenotype by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.K320R variant (also known as c.959A>G), located in coding exon 9 of the APOB gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 959. The lysine at codon 320 is replaced by arginine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
