Pathogenic for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_018139.3(DNAAF2):c.388G>T (p.Glu130Ter), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal at codon 130 (p.Glu130*) of the DNAAF2 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. While this particular variant has not been reported in the literature, truncating variants in DNAAF2 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 19052621). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
