(Hum Mol Genet. 2022): ACMG/AMP PP3 CADD_PHRED score of 26.PM4 the variant causes a 2 amino acid duplication. Although present in an MH susceptible individual from the n=100 MH susceptible group it was also present in an unrelated MH normal individual (BS2) from the n=25 MH normal group. BP3 the 2 amino acid duplication is in a small repeat region BA1 the variant is designated common due to a MAF of 1.16E-02. For these reasons the variant is classified as benign.
