Submitter rationale: Variant summary: TTN c.9166C>T (p.Arg3056Cys) results in a non-conservative amino acid change located in the I-band region of the encoded protein sequence. Four of five in-silico tools predict a damaging effect of the variant on protein function. Consensus agreement among computation tools predict no significant impact on normal splicing. However, these predictions have yet to be confirmed by functional studies. The variant allele was found at a frequency of 3.2e-05 in 250476 control chromosomes.
