NM_032638.5(GATA2):c.709G>C (p.Gly237Arg) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.G237R variant (also known as c.709G>C), located in coding exon 2 of the GATA2 gene, results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 709. The glycine at codon 237 is replaced by arginine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is not well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
