Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_004364.5(CEBPA):c.479T>C (p.Ile160Thr), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.I160T variant (also known as c.479T>C), located in coding exon 1 of the CEBPA gene, results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 479. The isoleucine at codon 160 is replaced by threonine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
