The frequency data for this variant in gnomAD is considered unreliable, as metrics indicate poor data quality at this position. c.184C>A has been observed in at least one individual affected with Cardiomyopathy (Park_2020). Different variants affecting the same codon have been classified as likely pathogenic/pathogenic (c.184C>G (p.Arg62Gly) & c.184C>T (p.Arg62Cys)), supporting the critical relevance of codon 62 to LMNA protein function. To our knowledge, no experimental evidence demonstrating an impact on protein function has been reported.
