Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_001009999.3(KDM1A):c.2389T>C (p.Tyr797His), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.Y797H variant (also known as c.2389T>C), located in coding exon 20 of the KDM1A gene, results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 2389. The tyrosine at codon 797 is replaced by histidine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
