Uncertain significance for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_181426.2(CCDC39):c.787A>G (p.Lys263Glu), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.K263E variant (also known as c.787A>G), located in coding exon 7 of the CCDC39 gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 787. The lysine at codon 263 is replaced by glutamic acid, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
