This variant lies in the GRIN1 gene (transcript NM_007327.4) at coding-DNA position 910, where C is replaced by T; at the protein level this means replaces proline at residue 304 with serine — a missense variant. Submitter rationale: This sequence change replaces proline, which is neutral and non-polar, with serine, which is neutral and polar, at codon 304 of the GRIN1 protein (p.Pro304Ser). This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with GRIN1-related conditions.
