Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_001184.4(ATR):c.2389G>A (p.Glu797Lys), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.E797K variant (also known as c.2389G>A), located in coding exon 11 of the ATR gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 2389. The glutamic acid at codon 797 is replaced by lysine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
