NM_000384.3(APOB):c.2728G>T (p.Gly910Cys) was classified as Uncertain significance for Cardiovascular phenotype by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.G910C variant (also known as c.2728G>T), located in coding exon 18 of the APOB gene, results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 2728. The glycine at codon 910 is replaced by cysteine, an amino acid with highly dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
