Submitter rationale: Variant summary: CYP1B1 c.71T>G (p.Leu24Arg) results in a non-conservative amino acid change in the encoded protein sequence. Four of five in-silico tools predict a damaging effect of the variant on protein function. The variant was absent in 243802 control chromosomes. c.71T>G has been reported in the literature in the homozygous state in at least 1 individual affected with Primary Congenital Glaucoma (example, Tanwar_2009, Tanwar_2010).
